When I said what I said I wasn't taking about from Tenaha at all. Just speaking the truth. By February I'm not sure Roxton will be better than Tenaha but right now a healthy Roxton squad is better. Tenaha was at a disadvantage because of football I do agree with that. At the end of the day Tenaha won and that's all that matters. I was just explaining the game to the ones who weren't in attendance.

Triple A is a triple shame and smear on the purity of UIL athletics ! Nothing more than the UIL allowing political and legalized recruiting. Charter, private and parochial schools have no place in public school system athletics . The UIL beat up every one for years on student movement for athletics, then let a few politicians get on charter school bandwagon and the gates opened for this travesty

Regions 3 teams don't have to worry about Triple A until Austin.  I'm sure they will gladly face that challenge because it means they got out of our region.

I will be pulling for Tenaha out of region 3, there are a lot of good teams in there and they definately gonna only get better as stated in previous messages. Big ups to Tenaha athletic programs always being elite in 1A. I will say this before I'm done with this thread....I do not believe if Roxton is at their best and Tenaha is at their best in February that Tenaha beats Roxton. Play the game again and Roxton wins by 30.

Cayugan, I agree with your post, especially the 3rd sentence. I think if this were a facebook post it would get a lot of likes. I think whoever plays Triple A at state will have a lot of people there rooting for them. If Triple A wins state and convincing, hopefully that would prompt UIL or someone to take action. Unfortunately, that could ruin what could be a very interesting race by the legit 1A schools this year.

Cayugan and Beeninnikes - Agree also..Triple A a triple shame! Boo UIL for allowing this to happen. Most of our 1A schools are made up of homegrown kids only, that's why smaller schools are usually up and down just due to population..Triple A is made up of all recruited kids.

I saw Triple A earlier this season and they would be fighting for the 3A championship. It just isn't quite fair these 1A-I teams have to play against them!
