Im posting a few scores that caught my attention and add some comments. What scores caught your eye or surprised you last night? What is your reaction to last nights games?

White Oak 78, Spring Hill 44 - Wow, shocker of the night being the margin of victory. Not even close compared to last years games.
Yantis 38, CHESS 36 - Very good win for Yantis considering CHESS has already beaten Miller Grove and Saltillo.
Saltillo 66, Ector 61- The matchup of 2 state ranked teams that was close as expected.
All Saints 47, Laneviille 46 - impressive win for All Saints. Laneville always tough to beat.
Hudson 51, Central Heights 48 - It took a buzzer beater to knock off CH. Not bad considering how good Hudson has looked early on.

I'd say Grapeland beating Trinity by that much was a surprise. I wasn't sure about what Grapeland had but they seem loaded with talent. I know Trinity is coming off of football but still wasn't expecting a 26 point loss but gotta give Grapeland credit. They're tough.

Trinity was extremely rusty but no excuse for that , first game or not.

Looking for a better game last night especially without the Necks not having a full practice with a full squad......but it was a good game!

The OT win for Crockett over Central.  Is Crockett down or is Central improved?

I dont think Crockett is down but Central could be pretty good this year.  They played Argyle last week and only lost by 2.  They have a good young coach this year and when I saw them a couple years ago they had some young talented players.  I'll be curious to see how they do in the Madisonville Tournament when they play a couple good east Texas teams (Jacksonville, Grapeland).

The margin of the Grapeland/Trinity and Douglass/Slocum games surprised me. I thought Grapeland would beat Trinity, but I expected a very close game. Douglass has already beaten Slocum once this year, but I thought they would fare better. Having trouble getting a feel of Slocum this year. I didn't think they would be very down, but they are struggling it seems like.
Surprised to see All Saints knock off Laneville on the road. Laneville is typically good, and even tougher to beat at home.
