Congrats to Coach Dalbert and the Roxton Lions after going to state 3 years in a row finally winning a state championship.  I've read and heard some good things about Coach Dalbert so I'm happy to see him get a ring. This was a pretty good game to watch as I expected.  It was a 1-2 possession ballgame most of the game till late in the 3rd quarter.  Roxton went on a late 3rd quarter run that was capped off by a made 3 pointer on the buzzer.  One of the differences in the game I thought was Roxton going 6-12 from the 3 point line.  I also thought Roxton played much better offensively and defensively than they did in the semifinal game.  Against Texline they were giving up layups and leaving people open and also on offense making poor shot selections.  They defended Douglass very well and wouldnt let them breathe on offense.  I thought Douglass relied to heavily on the Westbrook brothers on offense, which led to only 9 points by the rest of the team.  It seemed like though they were the only 2 that wanted to or tried to score when they touched the ball.  Douglass went on a long scoring drought in the late 3rd/early 4th.  That led to Douglass falling behind too far in the 4th quarter and  made a comeback but ran out of time.  Douglass shouldnt hang their heads at all. They had a great season that included beating 3 top 10 teams in the playoffs, one of which was the defending state champion Calvert.  How many teams can say they went from being 2-3 in district at one point to making it all the way to the state championship game? Congrats to Coach Leuschner and Coach Westbrook on a great season.  I could tell from listening to the kids in the press conference that they love and respect their coach.

What are yalls thoughts on the game or anything else?
