If you had to put together a Preseason top 10 today for the upcoming season for 1A D1 what would it look like?

Don't forget the new school, Dallas AAA Academy when y'all are making out your lists. Got a legit D-I prospect at guard. Only had freshmen and sophomore classes this year but were able to hang with Carrollton Ranchview, Rowlett, and Richardson, while beating Lake Highlands, Dallas Roosevelt, Mansfield, and Haltom.

I don't see anyone in 1A DI beating Dallas Triple AAA Academy.  As a matter of fact, they could probably win 2A and even give Yates a run for their money in 3A. They should win back-to-back state titles.  If so, would be the first 'charter' school to win a UIL state championship.  More and more charter schools are making the jump to UIL.

Here is a link to one of the players on Dallas AAA. He is ranked #16 on the ESPN Rise top-25 for 2015..

King is a great kid.  His dad is the superintendent.

I'm curious about his age in relation to the other kids in that class????

Can you be more specific?  I don't get what you are saying.  The kid is 16 and the school only had freshman and sophomores this year.

This thread was started to talk about the top ten in D1A and all this has turned into is Dallas AAA Academy. Could someone please give their opinion on a true top ten and not just one team.

In no particular order:
Dallas AAA Academy
Kerens
Mumford
Cayuga
Grapeland
Mart
Those are a few off the top of my head. I'll do some more research for a more complete list

Triple A should be number one. Cayuga, Grapeland, and Mumford right behind them in some order. Not buying Mart. Region 3 will surely be unkind to them.

I don't think that Region 3 will be very nice to Kerens either. I really don't think that they would have even made the Regional Tournament last year if they would have been in 3.

So San Augustine gets no respect dropping from 2A and returning 8 players?

I think they will be good, but not top-10. I think they fall somewhere between 15 and 20. Region III 1A alone has been stacked the past few years and will be again this year. Not to mention SA missed the playoffs last year, and each of the top teams in 1A Region III had wins over each of the playoff teams from SA's district.

Yeah, topher about sums it up for me. I reckon any of the schools that made last year's region 3 tournament would've won a majority of the districts in 2A.
