I had Cayuga as my favorite, but a move in for Grapeland has them my favorite for 1A-DI Region III. I'd watch for the usual suspects: Tenaha, Slocum, and Martins Mill. San Augustine is supposed to have a very good team that could compete for the region in my mind as well.

I think Broaddus will be returning a a pretty good team. They have two talented seniors and a young point guard that could take them pretty far along with some key players.

Triple A has their schedule published on the school website. Open with 5A region 1 finalist South Grand Prairie on 11/12 and go from there.

That schedule is insane. There are 5A's that would be happy to walk away from that schedule alive...They will definitely be battle tested going into the playoffs, problem is, they have a two month stretch of not being challenged. Nobody in district or the first three rounds of the playoffs will push them, going to be tough to just turn it on...

Ain't it though? I can't wait to see if they can actually hang with those schools.

So where did Grapeland's move-in come from and how tall is he?

Jacolby Simpson came over from Lovelady. He was their leading scorer last year as a sophomore. Not huge, but good size at 6'2". Very quick and athletic. Gives Grapeland a legit #2 scoring option behind Walker.

I read on another site that prime time academy was voted out by their district Didn't know that could happen but that's what I would do with triple a if I'm in their district, if they were out blatantly recruiting kids

^ That was reversed. Prime Prep will be able to field a varsity team in all sports other than football (in which they didn't have enough eligible players anyway).
