Beaumont Central Jaguars #2 4A
Players to Watch: E’Torian Wilridge (Jr), Nijel Pearson (So), Kenrik Twine (Jr)

Led by Wilridge and Pearson, the Jags are one of the favorites to win the tournament as well as the region 3 championship in class 4A. Jakory Guillory heads the backcourt along with Pearson. Twine is strong down low and finishes well around the basket.

Galena Park North Shore Mustangs #8 5A
Players to Watch: Brandon Etienne (Sr), Jalin Hart (Sr), Kerwin Roach (Jr), Jarrey Foster (Jr)

Pressure, Pressure, Pressure, the Mustangs will press you off of the bus. They are a guard heavy team led by the senior backcourt of Etienne and Hart. Roach and Foster give the Mustangs a pair of extremely athletic wings who finish at the rim.


Port Arthur Memorial Titans
Players to Watch: Dorian Chatman (Jr), Torian Lott (Sr)

The Titans are led by the inside-outside duo of Chatman and Lott. They are a real sleeper team in this tournament. They have just recently received 2 other key contributors including Lott from the football field, so they are now at full strength. A somewhat soft schedule has been played so this tournament will be their first real test since opening against 4A state ranked Ozen.


West Orange Stark Mustangs #13 3A
Players to Watch: LaQuarious Page (Sr) *Signed to Indiana State, Brandon Joubert (Sr)

The Mustangs are led by Page. He is an athletic guard who can shoot it and get to the basket at will. Joubert is a great compliment to Page. He can shoot it well from 3 point range.

Beaumont West Brook Bruins
Players to Watch: Mike Zeno (Sr) *Signed to University of New Orleans, Jordan Green (Sr)

Zeno is a do it all guy. Aggressive to the basket, and gets to the free throw line frequently. He also rebounds exceptionally well. Green is a good point guard. When his shot is falling he becomes deadly.


Angleton Wildcats
Players to Watch: Stephaun Limuel (Sr), Josh Campbell (So)

Limuel is a lengthy wing who can shoot it and defend. He is an above average rebounder. He blocks shots well also. Campbell is a very good young point guard with a good mid range game. He also rebounds well for his size (6’0)


Beaumont Ozen Panthers #15 4A
Players to Watch: Jordan Hunter (Jr) *Committed to University of New Mexico, Josh Boyd (So), DeMaster Sam (Sr)

Hunter is a special talent at point guard. He can score, get his teammates involved, rebound and play solid defense. Boyd is a strong physical guard who hits the open jumper with regularity. Sam is a good shooter but is aggressive at attacking the rim also.


Nederland Bulldogs
Players to Watch: Colton Weisbrod (Sr) *Signed to University of New Orleans, Tyler Toon (Sr), Jaylen Ballou (So)

Weisbrod has been on varsity for 4 years and his game has gotten better each year. He is a load down low, with good post moves and footwork. He can also hit the mid range jumper. Tyler Toon is lights out from 3. Ballou is an up and coming guard.


Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes
Players to Watch: Da’Vyon Collins (Sr), Danuel House (Sr)

Collins leads the team in scoring is a solid guard. House is the younger brother of the former Hurricane and current University of Houston star who has the same name.


Fort Bend Ridge Point Panthers
Players to Watch: CJ Uzowulu (Sr.) Caleb Thomas (Jr)

Uzowulu leads the Panthers in scoring and rebounding. Thomas is second on the team in both categories.


Putnam City West Patriots
Players to Watch: Omega Harris (Sr) *Committed to UTEP, Stephen Edwards (Sr) *Committed to Santa Clara, Tyson Jolly (Jr)

Harris is one of the best guards in the state of Oklahoma. He is extremely quick and very athletic. Jolly is an athletic wing that gets to the basket at will. Edwards is a good shooter with some athletic ability.


Dallas South Oak Cliff
Players to Watch: James Harrison (Jr), CJ Massingburg (Jr)

Harrison is a long 6’7-6’8 who will cause problems down low. Massingburg is a guard who will lead his team and make plays.
