Congrats to West Sabine and Chapel Hill for making the rankings for the first time this season.  Chireno jumps back in and Kennard falls out.  With Chireno coming in at 15, now 5 teams in 25-1A-II have been ranked in the top 15 this season.  In 3A, with West Orange Starks deserved move into the rankings, 3 teams from 21-3A are now in the top 15.  What are your thoughts on the newest rankings?

Surprised that Crockett hasn't climbed back into the polls. Maybe a win over CH on Tuesday and a win over Mexia Friday night can get them back in the top-25.

Also surprised to see that Kennard fell so quickly. Back-to-back losses aren't good, but they were to top-10 teams, and only one was by double-digits. I'm interested to see how they play in the second half of district play.

Kennard lost one of their big guys due to an auto accident.  It has really affected the team as a whole.

Benson was a key player and helped ignite the team. He wasn't the best basketball player on the team, but he sparked the team and gave them an emotional lift. He was by far the best athlete on the team.
I hope they can finish strong and make it into the playoffs, but the loss seems to be too much right now.
As for how quickly they fell, I was referring to going fro #16 to unranked in a week. I know they lost two games, but those two losses were to good teams. I was hoping they would get the benefit of a doubt and stick around at #25 or so.
