Congrats to Chireno for making into the rankings.  If you're counting at home, thats 4 teams ranked for 25-1A-II, proving what I said in the offseason that this is the best district in the state.  The notable team that fell out of the rankings is Hooks.  What do you guys think of the rankings?

Don't be surprised if another 25-1A-II team cracks the rankings at some point this year too in Kennard...They have quietly put together a solid resume to start the season. Just one loss that I know of, and that was in the championship game of the Wells Tourney.
Not a lot of teams from 2A so far this year, but very top heavy with White Oak, Kountze, and Clarksville sitting in the top-5. Crockett, Tatum, Franklin, and Edgewood should all be pretty solid this year too..

I knew Hooks probably wouldn't stay up there for long. They are not the type of team to be highly ranked and respected all year long but come playoff time no matter if they are ranked or not they'll give somebody all they want.
