This game has just been scheduled recently due to football.  This is Cayuga's first game of the season and Douglass has already played in 2 tournaments.  Who do you think wins this matchup of #2 teams in 1A-I, 1A-II?

Excited to see how Cayuga will blend together this year. They graduated big man Zac Bowman last year, but return Preston Anderson and Deon Schoffner. Preston averaged about 28 points a game last year, and has only gotten better. Preston and Deon should average about 50+ a game between the two of them. This year Cayuga adds a true point guard so Preston won't have to bring the ball down the court.

It should definitely be a great game. Last year Cayuga's first game was against #1 small school Roxton, where the Wildcats won by 10.

On a side note, Cayuga called Douglass twice last year and wanted to play, preseason and a warmup game, and was turned down both times. This year Douglass called Cayuga. Hmm...

I follow Cayuga very closely and watched all of Douglass' tournament games in Van this past weekend....its no match....Cayuga will dominate them due to sheer size and speed...Douglass can shoot but they have trouble defensively and if you cant stop Preston or Deon then you're done!  Playing in Douglass might help and the fact that its Cayugas first game but those are the ONLY hopes Douglass has....this shouldn't even be close
